bookhunting
I’m finishing the group paper for tomorrow’s Intro to Lit class, but I feel dead tired, I don’t even know why.
I guess this is because I spent the afternoon going on ‘book hunting’ with Mikey. We didn’t meet for AIS this afternoon because it was just consultation so Mikey & I headed to Shang to buy books in National Book Store & Powerbooks. Then we had merienda/dinner at Tender Bob’s while waiting for the rain to stop.
(Thanks Mikey, I had fun.)
Anyway, China studies was, per usual, full of information. It wasn’t exactly boring; there’s just too many things to write down. In Modern Literature, we watched the first part of Age of Innocence. I have to admit, it was hell of a torture! It spelled b-o-r-i-n-g as well as uninteresting. Now I fear for the book of the same title - this is a required reading for my Introduction to Literature subject. Ugh. I’m afraid I’ll fall asleep reading it.
After ModLit I went to Mikey’s condo to hang out. We ordered Jollibee for lunch (hee!), then talked a little about the yearbook, watched a little bit of Ellen Degeneres then headed out to Shang for the ‘book hunting’ thing.
Powerbooks is having a sale on Wednesday, let’s nerd out, people!!!
I am so excited!
