cullen and sturridge: a welcome distraction

I have lost my fuzzy feelings on matters of teh heart.

The culprit(s)? Edward Cullen AND Tom Sturridge.

And I really don’t mind.

This afternoon, as soon as I finished reading Breaking Dawn I reread it again, skipping over to the good parts (honeymoon one and two!) and… you know what? As I was reading the book, I felt like I was reading fanfiction, instead of The Real Thing (in which I felt the same when reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last year). Anyway, I think Stephenie Meyer could have done better, although I’m not saying Breaking Dawn was bad. In fact, I liked it more than Eclipse and New Moon combined. Although I still think there’s something missing, I am not complaining. Really.

Especially since it helped me forget about someone.

I think I prefer distraction over destruction…
in which the book served as a good diversion,
that even for a short while I wasn’t to think about that person.

So yeah, I love Edward Cullen. It won’t change. (HAHA!)
And I still think Tom Sturridge is the perfect Edward, thankyouverymuch.

You know what would’ve been interesting? (Spoilers ahead.) If Renesmee had been an absolute brat and played pranks on Edward and Emmett. I agree with you on the fanfiction bit. Stephenie Meyer seemed to make Bella a little too adaptable to vampire life and it seemed a little… suspicious. I liked Eclipse the most.

Like Minds pops to mind when you mention Tom Sturridge. He’s not the hottest thing ever (don’t chase me with your machete) but he’s alright and was fantastic in that movie.
